Vehicle Donation Program

The Sikh Foundation in its spirit of doing work for the Sikh cause has undertaken many projects that are most needed for the global Sikh community but are beyond the financial capacities of any single individual and organization. Due to the financial obligations and commitments required to complete our existing and future planned projects, we are reaching out to you, the Sikh community at large.

Like other traditional non-profit organizations, we have also opened our doors towards accepting tax deductible contributions through your donated vehicles. For this purpose, The Sikh Foundation has joined hands with an organization called Car Program LLC based in Northern California in order to use Vehicle Donation program as a method of raising funds.

Car Program LLC takes complete responsibility of completing all documental and logistical formalities needed to pick-up your vehicle from your door step, sell it and transfer the proceeds to The Sikh Foundation. Even the pick up of your vehicle from your doorstep is free of cost to you. As a reimbursement to these services, Car Program LLC keeps 30% of the proceeds to itself.

This is how it works ...

If you have a Car that you would like to donate to us for the Sikh cause, please fill up this simple form and press the submit button. Apart from asking some general questions about your car, the form also asks where you would like us to use the funds earned from the sale of your car. After submitting the form, a Car Program LLC representative will contact within four business days and make arrangements to pick up your car. You will be given a tax-deductible receipt as soon as your car is picked up. Then approximately in 30 days, 70% of the funds earned from the sale of your car will be transferred to us and we will use those funds towards your choice of project for the Sikh cause.
