We are deeply honored to share that Dr. Narinder Kapany, the Father of Fiber Optics and our beloved founder, was posthumously awarded by UCSC for his monumental contributions to science and his unwavering support of the university.
In a heartfelt ceremony, his children, Raj and Kiki Kapany, proudly accepted the award on his behalf. This recognition not only celebrates his pioneering work but also his enduring legacy of fostering education and innovation.
