Sukhman Dhami is the Founder and Executive Director of Ensaaf, a human rights organization dedicated to ending impunity for crimes against humanity in India. He has led the largest effort in India to document enforced disappearances, extrajudicial executions, and torture in Punjab, and his work has appeared in outlets such as The Hill, Christian Science Monitor, and Human Rights Watch. A recipient of fellowships from the Ford Foundation and Echoing Green, he also serves on the Advisory Board of the Public International Law & Policy Group. Sukhman holds a J.D. and M.A. from American University.

Dr. Simran Jeet Singh is Assistant Professor of Interreligious Histories at Union Theological Seminary and author of the national bestseller The Light We Give: How Sikh Wisdom Can Transform Your Life. He also serves as Senior Advisor for the Aspen Institute’s Religion & Society Program and is an award-winning writer of books for adults and children, including Fauja Singh Keeps Going and A Vaisakhi to Remember.
