Kaisii Aarti Hoey!! (ਕੈਸੀ ਆਰਤੀ ਹੋਇ)
The evening opens with Ishmeet Narula, weaving Hindustani music, poetry, and soundscapes into Guru Nanak’s journey from ritual to cosmos. The piece picks up at Guru Nanak’s encounter with the cosmic Aarti at Jagannath Puri, and builds toward a single question that anchors the whole performance: if the sky is the canopy, the sun and moon the lamps, the stars the pearls, what is the Aarti of the One? Script and direction by Kuljeet Singh.

Echoes of the Eternal
Dr. Leena Singh and Ustad Homayoun Sakhi close the evening, joined by accompaniment on tabla, a second Rabab, and Taus. Verses from Japji Sahib and Sri Guru Granth Sahib are set to music across the ensemble, closing the night the way it opened: with sound built to carry something larger than the room it’s played in.

Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
